Sunita Shastri, Founder and CEO

Sunita Shastri embodies a captivating blend of entrepreneurship, community engagement, and culinary zeal, crafting rich narrative with social impact. With a diverse background spanning both business and nonprofit landscapes, she brings a distinctive perspective and skill set to tackle societal issues with finesse.

Through her active involvement as a board member and advisor with esteemed nonprofits such as Hopelink, The Sophia Way, and Essentials First, Sunita showcases a steadfast dedication to community service and the upliftment of marginalized groups. Her leadership roles on these boards highlight her strategic prowess in navigating intricate social challenges.

As a co-founder and board member of Eat Happy, Sunita harnessed her entrepreneurial drive to combat food insecurity and champion access to wholesome food. Grounded in her past endeavors within the food industry, she possesses a deep understanding of its dynamics and excels in devising sustainable solutions.

Moreover, Sunita’s adeptness in both business and nonprofit operations infuses vPurpose, her latest venture, with invaluable expertise. Recognizing the transformative potential of technology in amplifying social enterprises. She is on a mission to empower startup founders and nonprofits with robust growth strategies. Srinath Rao
Srinath Rao, Chief Technical Officer

Srinath Rao is a seasoned entrepreneur with 22 years of rich experience in the IT industry, having played pivotal roles across diverse domains and industry verticals. My journey has encompassed roles such as Architect, Developer, Tester, Consultant, Program/Project Manager, QA Manager, and Development Manager in leading product-based companies including TERA Informatics, Intel, BMC Software, Symantec, iSoty, and Theorem.

His expertise lies in Enterprise Server Management, Enterprise Security, Process Simulation, Website Optimization and Product Management, where he has consistently delivered impactful solutions.

In 2009, He founded iSoty and have since spearheaded the development of numerous products from concept to implementation, both for iSoty and other clients. At iSoty, his company specialize in website development, software product development, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), driving Process Improvement through Agile methodologies, AI consulting and also specialize in IT staffing and recruitment.

He is deeply committed to providing outstanding client service, placing a strong emphasis on efficiency and ensuring timely deliverables. Throughout his career spanning 22 years in the IT industry, he has consistently prioritized exceeding client expectations through streamlined processes and meticulous attention to detail. His approach not only guarantees high-quality results but also cultivates long-term client relationships built on trust and reliability.

Janet Richards, Consultant

Janet Richards is a creative and versatile strategic leader with experience spanning the technology sector, non-profit board leadership, and community advocacy. With a steadfast focus on strategic leadership within dynamic environments, Janet has demonstrated a talent for conceptualizing, developing, and executing innovative programs that yield measurable results.

In addition to her strategic leadership, Janet boasts over 15 years of expertise as a project management professional. Her proficiency in this domain is enhanced by her deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Recognizing the significance of stakeholder collaboration, Janet excels in uniting diverse voices and perspectives to drive meaningful change.

Janet’s extensive experience includes serving as vice-chair on the Redmond Human Services Commission, where she reviewed grants for community human services and made budget recommendations to the Redmond City Council. She also held the position of Chair of the Seattle Children’s Family Advisory Council and served as a community member on the Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiative. Currently, Janet serves on the Quality and Medical Staff Committee of the Seattle Children’s Board of Trustees. Additionally, she plays an active role on the boards of Hopelink, Together Center, and the Advancement of Women in Leadership. Janet chairs the Pacific Northwest Conference Board of Administration of the Free Methodist Church, further exemplifying her commitment to community engagement and advocacy.

Alisa Chatinsky, Advisor

Alisa Chatinsky has spent 30+ years helping nonprofits achieve success. She uses a common-sense business approach to help nonprofit organizations succeed with effective solutions.

Twelve years ago, Alisa started NPO Success, combining her business acumen and her love for nonprofits. She works with each nonprofit to identify its greatest needs and organizational goals. Then she creates the plan to help the nonprofit attain its next level of achievement. Her ability to connect the right people with the right money is one of her key offerings and is just as comfortable working with a small, fledgling agency or with a multimillion-dollar organization, adapting to fit the needs of the nonprofit based on nonprofit lifecycles.

In the social benefit sector, Alisa held CEO, Associate Director and Development leadership positions. She created marketing, development and strategic plans, researched and wrote grants, as well as planned and implemented dozens of special events. Prior to moving into nonprofit leadership, Alisa ran her own successful advertising, public relations and marketing firm, with her preferred clients being nonprofit organizations.

Susan Finn, Advisor
For over 30 years, Susan Finn led Software Engineering organizations in a wide range of industries:  Product and Consulting companies, from early stage/small startups to large established firms.  Since retiring in 2015, Susan serves as a volunteer on the Board of Kirkland Choral Society, as Treasurer.
